This introductory 8 week session will give an overview of the parts and functions of a computer, programs like Microsoft Word and Excel, and also the Internet. This class is meant to be an introduction to computers for those who have very little or no experience and would like to have a good starting place. Students will also set up an email account and learn about some of the valuable resources available on the Internet. They will also become familiar with the library's online catalogue and other databases. There are two sessions to choose from, either 10:30-11:30 or 11:30-12:30. Choose the time which is the most convenient for you! There is a non-refundable $5.00 fee for this class. Pay on the first day or when you sign up for the class.
